Pelargonium zonale (L.) L'Hér.

Spreading subshrub. Leaves more or less round, with a dark zone in the middle, the margin lobed and round-toothed. Flower cluster of up to 45 flowers. Petals white, pink or red, the 2 uppermost darkly veined, spur to about 2.5 cm long; spring to autumn.
