Densely branched perennial herb generally grown as an annual, seeding each year. Leaves solitary or in pairs, divided into fine segments mostly less than 1 mm wide and white-hairy below. Flowers dispersed. Petals dark magenta with a white, v-shaped marking at the base; summer to autumn.
