Ursinia sericea (Thunb.) N.E.Br.

Perennial subshrub to 70 cm tall, hairy. Stems erect or ascending. Leaves lanceolate or obovate, to 8 cm long, to 2 cm wide, once divided, segments linear, silvery-hairy. Capitula radiate, solitary, to 3 cm across; summer. Ray florets yellow. Disk florets yellow. Achenes about 4 mm long, curved, with a basal hair tuft. Pappus of 5 obovate scales.
