Santolina pinnata subsp. neapolitana (Jord. & Fourr.) Guinea

Shrub to 80 cm tall, densely white-hairy. Stems erect. Leaves to 5 cm long, to 1.2 cm wide, densely pinnate, with segments to about 6 mm long. Capitula in clusters, to 2 cm across, long-stalked; summer. Florets bright yellow. [S. neapolitana Jord. & Fourr., S. tomentosa Pers.]

The subsp. pinnata. is more or less glabrous, has solitary capitula to 1.5 cm across and off-white florets.
