Chamomile Sunray

Perennial herb to 30 cm tall, glabrous to cottony. Stems many, erect or ascending, little-branched. Leaves linear to oblong, to 1.5 cm long, to 2 mm wide, glandular. Capitula solitary, to 2.5 cm across; spring to summer. Inner involucral bracts spreading, white. Florets many, yellow. Achenes cylindrical, about 2 mm long, silky. [Helipterum anthemoides (Spreng.) DC.]
