Raoulia australis Hook.f.

Perennial herb forming mats or cushions to 1 m across. Stems prostrate, muchbranched. Leaves spoon-shaped, to 2 mm long, densely overlapping, silver-hairy towards apex. Capitula to 5 mm across; spring. Involucral bracts with a bright yellow spreading tip. Florets yellow. Achenes to 1mm long, almost glabrous.

R. parkii Buchanan from New Zealand is a prostrate,mat-forming herb with small overlapping leaves and membranous involucral bracts with white spreading tips;

R. subsericea Hook. f. from New Zealand is a prostrate, mat-forming herb with the branch tips erect or ascending, small overlapping leaves and membranous involucral bracts with prominent white, spreading tips.
