Cypress Daisy-bush

Erect cypress-like shrub to 1.5 m tall, glabrous, resinous. Stems branched, often sticky. Leaves alternate, linear, to 5 mm long, to 0.5 mm wide, usually appressed to stems, margins entire, green and sticky on both surfaces, sessile or nearly so. Capitula terminal, solitary, to 1.6 cm across, without stalks; winter to spring. Ray Florets white. Disk florets yellow. Achenes cylindrical, about 1.5 mm long, glabrous. Pappus bristles white.
