Cushion Bush

Shrub to 1m tall, cushion-like. Leaves linear to ovate, to 15 mm long, to 1.2 mm wide, white- or grey-hairy. Compound heads to 1.5 cm across. Capitula 30-110 per compound head; late spring to autumn. Achenes 1.2-1.8 mm long. [Calocephalus brownii (Cass.) F. Muell.]
