Leucochrysum albicans (A.Cunn.) Paul G. Wilson

Perennial herb to 45 cm tall, woolly. Stems erect, simple or sparsely branched. Leaves linear to obovate, to 10 cm long, to 1 cm wide, crowded on lower stems. Capitula solitary, to 5 cm across; late winter to early autumn. Inner involucral bracts with a spreading white or yellow lamina. Florets yellow. [Helipterum albicans (A. Cunn.) DC.]

Eastern Australia

A variable species with 2 subspecies and 3 varieties currently recognised.
