Helenium autumnale L.

Perennial herb to 2 m tall, virtually glabrous. Stems erect, winged, branched. Leaves lanceolate, to 12 cm long, to 4 cm wide, margins usually toothed, decurrent at base. Capitula in loose corymbs, to 5 cm across; summer to autumn. Ray florets yellow. Disk florets yellow.
