Perennial shrub to 1m tall, hairy. Stems erect, much-branched. Leaves linear or 3- lobed, to 2 cm long, to 2 mm wide, channelled, silky, sessile. Capitula in racemes or umbels, about 5 mm across, woolly; autumn to spring. Outer florets ligulate, white. Inner florets purple.
