Ageratum houstonianum Mill.

Annual herb to 70 cm tall. Stems decumbent. Leaves opposite, usually heart-shaped at base, with large glandular dots on underside. Capitula about 7 mm across; summer. Florets usually blue, sometimes white or pink.

Mexico

This species is available in a wide range of seed mixes and hybrid forms that are mostly dwarf and compact and vary from white to pink, lavender, blue, or bicoloured with white centres.
