Tall Bluebell

Perennial herb to about 80 cm tall, branching below the flowers. Leaves opposite at the base, alternate up the stem, obovate, becoming linear above, 0.5-7 cm long, to 12 mm wide, margins wavy, entire or with small teeth. Flower clusters produced throughout the year. Corolla blue, sometimes white outside, single or double, lobes 0.5-2 cm long. Fruit capsule 3-10 mm long.

All states except NT, New Zealand

A double form is known.The undocumented W. 'Bonnie Blue' is sometimes offered.
