Tree to 10 m tall. Leaves stalked, slightly fleshy, 4-10 cm long, 2-3 cm wide; margins round-toothed towards the tip, wavy-edged below or all along. Flower clusters 2-6 on common stalks to 1.5 cm long. Flowers white and purple-spotted, about 1 cm wide. Ovary 4-chambered. Fruit 0.5-1 cm long, reddish purple.
