Slender Myoporum

Shrub to 3 m tall with unpleasant-smelling foliage. Leaves alternate or opposite, mostly 3-10 cm long, 1-3 mm wide, hanging. Flowers 6-8, on stalks 1-3 mm long. Flowers white and without dots; winter to summer. Fruit flattened.

Leaves with an unpleasant smell.

 

M. bateae F. Muell. is similar but has sweet-smelling leaves more than 3 mm wide with the margins toothed, at least in the upper half.
