A vigorous evergreen scrambling to climbing shrub. Leaves opposite. Leaflets 5-7, lanceolate, lateral leaflets mostly 3-4.5 cm long. Flower clusters axillary, branching, of 5-15 flowers with stalks 1-1.5 cm long. Flowers with sepals linear, 1-2 mm long, petals white with pink exterior, tube mostly about 2 cm long, strongly scented; summer.
