Round-leaved Mintbush

Erect, aromatic shrub to about 3 m tall. Leaves broadly obovate to ovate or round, about 0.5-2 cm long and wide,margins entire or irregularly lobed or round-toothed; stalk 2-8 mm long. Flowers axillary. Calyx tube 2-3.5 mm long. Corolla 1-1.5 cm long, purplish, occasionally pink; spring.

Pink-flowered forms are occasionally available.
