Plectranthus oertendahlii T.C.E.Fr.

Fleshy perennial herb to about 20 cm tall with spreading stems that root at the nodes. Leaves fleshy, blades broadly ovate to almost round, 3-4 cm long, 2.5-4 cm wide, lower surface purple with colourless glands; margin round-toothed; stalk to 4 cm long. Flower clusters simple or branched, 7-20 cm long. Flowers in 3s with often 6 per whorl, white or suffused with pale mauve, tube expanded to form a sac at the base.

Popular as a hanging basket plant.
