Purple Wreath

Scrambling or twining deciduous to evergreen shrub. Leaves to about 20 cm long,10 cm wide, opposite, decussate, oblong to elliptic, the tip pointed, leathery, slightly sticky. Flower clusters cylindrical, drooping, to 30 cm or so long. Calyx lilac, with the lobes longer than the tube. Corolla lobes bright indigo.
