Cup-and-Saucer Plant

Shrub to 8 m or so tall. New growth hairy. Leaves ovate to about 8 cm long, longpointed, base slightly toothed, stalk thin, to 2.5 cm long. Flowers with calyx spreading, orange-red, to 2.5 cm wide, with netted veins. Corolla red, to 2.5 cm long. Fruit obovate, black.
