Clerodendrum trichotomum Thunb.

Deciduous tree or shrub to 5 m or more tall with downy shoots. Leaves to 20 cm long, 10 cm wide, entire or with a few teeth, hairy, unpleasant-smelling. Flower clusters axillary, broad and flat-topped, on long stalks. Flowers white, to 3 cm wide, with a red fleshy calyx. Fruit about 5-8 mm long, blue.
