Billygoat Weed

Herb or small subshrub to 1 m high. Leaf blade lanceolate to obovate or oblong, up to 80 mm long and 30 mm wide; tip apiculate, base cuneate. Flowers 20-35 mm long, 30-40 mm wide. Corolla white or pink, or white with a red eye. Fruit cylindrical, 25-35 mm long. [Vinca rosea L.]

Madagascar

Various cultivars exist, based mainly on habit and flower colour. New cultivars are constantly being developed.
