Amsonia tabernaemontana Walt.

Erect, perennial herb to 1 m tall, densely clustering from base. Leaf blade ovate to oblong-elliptic, 7-15 cm long and 3-4 cm wide; tip acute; base obtuse to broadly acute. Flowers 10-12 mm long, 8-12 mm wide; stalks 3-5 mm long. Corolla salver-shaped, blue; lobes oblong to oblong-lanceolate and 4-6 mm long. Follicles 8-10 cm long.
