Korokio

Densely branched shrub to over 2 m tall with dark, rough bark. Branchlets thin, not tangled. Leaves broadly lanceolate and pointed, 5-15 cm long,1-3 cm wide, leathery. Flower clusters terminal and axillary, to 5 cm long; spring. Flowers 7-10 mm wide, bright or pale yellow. Fruit red to black, mostly 6-7 mm long.
