A slender twining plant. Leaves ovate, to about 8 cm long, 6 cm wide and with a fine point at the tip, deeply cordate at the base and long-stalked. Flowers mostly 3-6 together, the petals to about 2 cm long, fringed; summer. Fruit a broad samara to about 2.5 cm long.
