Shrub to 2 m high. Leaf blade linear, 10-40 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide; apex with a sharp point. Petals obovate, 10-15 mm long, white. Fruit roundish, 10-12 mm wide, spiny with numerous projections.
R. glaucus Endl. from WA is a shrub to 1 m high. Leaf blade linear to narrow- oblong, 7-20 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide; apex with a sharp point. Petals obovate to spathulate, 8-15 mm long, white to yellow. Fruit ovoid, 5-7 mm wide, finely hairy.
R. tuberculatus Müll. Arg. from WA is a shrub to 3 m high. Leaf blade linear, 10-30 mm long, 1-2 mm wide; apex with a sharp point. Petals obovate, 6-10 mm long, white. Fruit ovoid, about 10 mm wide, tuberculate.
