Epilobium sarmentaceum Hausskn.

Mountain Willowherb

Rhizomatous perennial with erect stems to about 50 cm tall. Leaves lanceolate to elliptic, 1-4 cm long. Flowers white to purplish pink, the petals to 7 mm long; summer. Fruit 3-5 cm long, covered with hair.

Grows naturally among rocks at high altitude.
