White Myrtle

Tree to over 20 m tall in the wild. Bark papery. Leaves elliptic, 5-11 cm long, 2-5 cm wide, lower surface silvery-white with fine hairs, stalked. Flowers 3-5 together; late spring to summer. Petals white, 3-4 mm long. Fruits turning from red to black, round, 0.5-1 cm wide.
