Swamp Honey-myrtle

Shrub to 3 m tall. Bark corky. Leaves alternate, lanceolate, 5-12 mm long, 1-3 mm wide, veins 3-5, tip acute; stalk to 1.5 mm long. Flower heads more or less globular, to 2 cm wide; axis hairy; spring. Flowers pink to purple. Stamens 4-9 per bundle, base to 1mm long. Fruit globose, 5-7 mm wide, sepals not persistent.
