Woolly Tea-tree

Shrub or tree to 4 m tall. Leaves linear, narrowly elliptic or obovate, 0.5-2 cm long, 1.5-4 mm wide,mostly silky-hairy. Flowers 1.5 cm wide, stalkless; spring to summer. Petals white. Ovary 5-chambered. Fruit 5-8 mm wide, persistent.

SA, NSW, Vic, Tas.

L. sphaerocarpum Cheel from NSW has white or pink flowers while L. spectabile J. Thompson from NSW has deep red flowers.
