Ironbark

Small to medium-sized forest tree. Leaves 1-2 cm wide. Flowers Mar-May. Fruits 9-14 mm long and wide. Syn. E. sideroxylon Wools subsp. tricarpa L.A.S. Johnson.

Grows naturally in SE and C Vic and southern coastal NSW on rocky soils in hilly open forest.

Similar to E. sideroxylon but has larger buds mostly in 3s (not 7s), larger fruits and broader juvenile leaves.
