Gimlet

Tree to 15 m or more tall. Trunk spiralling. Bark smooth, glossy, reddish. Juvenile leaves lanceolate. Adult leaves lanceolate; blade mostly 5-10 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm wide, green, glossy. Leaf stalk mostly 1-1.5 cm long. Flowers in 7s, common stalk mostly 5-12 mm long, individual stalks 0-5 mm long. Fruits 3-6 mm long, 6-8 mm wide.

Widespread in WA. Commonly cultivated in the N and W of the state.
