Camden Woollybut

Tree to mostly 30 m tall. Bark fibrous on trunk and base, smooth on the branches. Juvenile leaves opposite, stalkless, lanceolate to ovate, stem-clasping. Adult leaves narrowly lanceolate, blade mostly 10-18 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, dull. Leaf stalk flattened, 8-12 mm long. Flowers white, in 7s, common stalk angled, 2-9 mm long with individual stalks 0-3 mm long; Feb-Apr. Fruit 3-5 mm long, 3-6 mm wide.

Grows naturally in open forest in S NSW. Naturalised in Victoria near Gisborne and Emerald.
