Kruses Mallee

Mallee to 2.5 m tall. Bark smooth throughout, grey-brown, flaking, yellowish when new. Juvenile leaves opposite, more or less round, persisting on the mature plant. Adult leaves opposite, stalkless, more or less round; blade 1.5-2 cm long and wide, same colour on both sides, grey, dull. Flowers pale yellow, in 7s, cluster stalk cylindrical or flattened, 3-10 mm long, individual stalks 3-6 mm long; Apr-June. Fruits waxy-white, 6-7 mm long and wide.

Occurs naturally to the E and SE of Kalgoorlie, generally on granitic outcrops.
