Tree mostly 7-9 m tall. Bark brownish grey. Leaves lanceolate with a slightly hooked tip; blade 7-9 cm long, mostly 1-2 cm wide. Leaf stalk 1-1.5 cm long, cylindrical. Flowers 7-11 in a group, pale yellow; common stalk 1-1.5 cm long, individual stalks mostly 2 mm long. Flower buds with long-pointed caps 1-1.5 cm long. Fruits 7-8 mm long, 5-6 mm wide.
Fairly widespread in the wild in SW WA on gravel or sand. Grown along highways in W of Vic.
