Callistemon pallidus (Bonpl.) D C.

Lemon Bottlebrush

Erect shrub to 8 m tall. Leaves narrowly elliptic to oblanceolate, leathery, 3-7 cm long, 9-15 mm wide, tip sharply pointed, lateral veins faint, surfaces mostly conspicuously and densely gland-dotted. Flower spike 3-7 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide but generally about 3.5 cm wide; spring to summer. Filaments cream to yellow. Fruit 4-6 mm wide.
