Erect shrub to 1 m tall. Leaves linear to narrowly elliptic. Flower heads 1.5-4.5 cm wide, daisy-like, occasionally without the ray flowers; year round but mostly spring. Sepals and petals similar, white, linear in ray flowers, pink in disk flowers. Stamens 8 (4 long and 4 short), the longer ones opposite the petals.
Sometimes available as a florists' flower.
