Shrub to 3 m tall with densely white-hairy new growth. Leaves opposite, elliptic to more or less round, mostly 0.5-1.5 cm long and wide, white-hairy below. Flower clusters with inconspicuous bracts, mostly 2-3 cm wide. Flowers creamy white, rarely pink; spring to summer.
