Common Rice Flower

Erect to straggling shrub with hairy stems. Leaves elliptic to lanceolate, mostly 0.5-1.5 cm long, 4-8 mm wide, hairless. Flower clusters with 4 bracts, mostly 1.5-2.5 cm wide. Flowers bisexual or female, the females shorter, creamy white, 1.5-2 cm long; spring to summer.

Similar to P. linifolia subsp. linifolia but with hairy stems.
