Subshrub to about 0.5 m tall. Leaves linear-lanceolate to about 2 cm long, dark green and glossy, crowded, the margins scalloped or entire. Flowers axillary on stalks to nearly 1 cm long. Calyx tube green. Petals 6, lilac with pink or white veins; summer to autumn.
Mexico, Guatemala.
