Ground Rose

Trailing shrub to about 40 cm tall. Leaves narrow, linear, 6-12 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, appearing to be on 1 side of the stem. Flower head 5-8 cm long, 3-6 cm wide; winter. Bracts mostly reddish brown, with mass of flowers white.

S Africa (Cape).

Trailing habit with narrow leaves and flowers in winter.
