Shrubs to 2.5 m tall with smooth bark. Leaves elliptic to ovate, 1.5-5 cm long, 0.5-3 cm wide with margins slightly rolled over. Flower clusters of 1-40 flowers. Flowers hairy; summer to autumn. Ovary hairless.
