Macadamia Nut

Tree to about 10 m tall. Leaves in groups of 4, rarely 3 or 5,10-25 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, teeth large and spined. Flowers white or pink; Sept-Oct. Fruits round, 2-3.5 cm wide; seeds warty.

Rainforest tree grown for the edible nuts.
