Holly Lomatia

Shrub, often scrambling, to 3 m tall. Leaves simple, mostly strongly toothed (rarely entire), ovate to elliptic, 10-18 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, sharply pointed at the tip, hairless except on the midrib below. Flower cluster terminal, to 20 cm long, projecting well above the leaves. Petals white to creamy yellow. Fruit follicle, 2.5-4 cm long.
