Shrub or small tree to 4 m tall. Leaves mostly cylindrical, to 5 cm long and 1 cm broad, flat and sharply toothed, especially towards the tip, or divided. Flower clusters terminal or axillary. Flowers white or yellow; autumn to spring. Fruit 2-2.5 cm long, about 1 cm wide, mostly rough and warty.
