Hakea sericea Schrad.

Spreading shrub to 3 m tall. Leaves cylindrical, to about 7 cm long, 1 mm wide, stiff, hairless with a point to about 3 mm long. Flower clusters axillary, of 1-7 flowers. Flowers white, hairless; winter to early spring. Fruit smooth, roundish, deeply wrinkled, the beak to 4 mm long and with 2 layers of wood opposite the seed cavity.

Plants from southern Australia long known as H. sericea are now placed in H. decurrens, often with pink flowers and a weeping habit.
