Ravensthorpe Range Hakea

Shrub to 3 m tall with rusty-hairy new growth. Leaves to 8 cm long, 2 cm wide, elliptic, mostly bluish green, tough, with 3 longitudinal veins. Flower clusters in globular heads sometimes concealed within the leaves, creamy pink darkening to reddish; winter to spring. Flowers 0.5 cm long, hairless. Fruits about 2.5 cm long, compressed, shortly beaked.
