Honeybush

Shrub to 3 m tall, mostly much shorter, mostly with new shoots reddish. Leaves cylindrical, with 3-15 needle-pointed divisions and with a groove. Flower clusters towards the tip; autumn. Calyx white or pink to yellow, 3-4 mm long. Fruit 2-3 cm long, 7-12 mm wide, mostly rough. Seed wing only attached along 1 margin. Syn. H. bipinnatifida R. Br.
