Needlewood

Medium shrub or small open tree to 4 m or more tall. Leaves cylindrical to 9 cm long, 2 mm wide, stiff, needle-pointed, becoming hairless. Flower clusters of 18-45 flowers. Flowers white, hairless; late spring to summer. Fruit ovoid, to about 2.5 cm long, 2 cm wide, more or less smooth.
