Grass-leaved Hakea

Shrub or small tree to 8 m or so tall. Leaves narrowly linear, to 25 cm long, 1 cm wide, directed upwards and with 3-9 longitudinal veins. Flower clusters elongated, of about 200-500 flowers, deep pink to orange; mostly winter to early spring. Fruit to about 2.5 cm long, smooth with narrowed beak.

Sometimes grafted on H. salicifolia.
